AEPHAR/RPSA has organised a campaign against Tuberculose posted on Jun , 20 2009 at 12H 00min 55 sec |
On 24th March 2009 ,It was a World TUBERCULOSIS Day. On that day RPSA has started a campaign against tuberculose in National University of Rwanda and in Hospitals around Campus.
We have started this campaign at 5pm with meeting of the members of Association ,biside the office of Diner of stundents; the president of RPSA has taken a speech explaining this campaign and inviting students to come and get all information about Tuberculose.
After that, we have distributed Brochure to NUR Students to inform them .
Among Information, contened in this brochure: tuberculose sympton, tuberculose definition, how a patient can know that he has a tuberculose, how you can get tuberculose , who can get tuberculose , how you can diagnostic tuberculose , tuberculose is a desease which is treated and cuted., How you can prevent the tuberculose , safty user of Drug against tuberculose .
From 6pm till 7pm ,each members of RPSA have taken a place to explain what they know about tuberculose and invite their freinds to come and get
The very important message brought by their freinds; saying that tuberculose is a very dangerous desease ,We have to avoid in our life.
This campaign has gone on in March , April and the first week of May.
During this periode ; different team formed by two pharmacy students trained, have approached the patients in differents hospitals around NUR.
Those Hospitals are; CHUB, KABUTARE AND NUR communitty clinic ,the was to explain the desease and to give them Brochure which will help them to teach other family Members.
We have closed this Campaign in May where each student who has participeted in this campaign, has got a Certificate.
